Going to Utah

Well my friends, I can finally share my very exciting news with you. I wasn’t sure if this trip was going to pan out or not. Various things have happened along the last four months to make me question it. Alas, I shall be going to Salt Lake City Utah on Friday. Big whoop you say. Yeah big whoop. I am going to see Sylvia Browne. She is currently on a book tour and I will be in the audience listening to her talk. My great hubby and I are going. I am a little surprised that the forces that stand beside us made it so that he would be the one to go with me to the show. He is a semi-believer. Evidently he is the person that is needing to hear the message that she will be bringing with her. I couldn’t be more happy. It will be such a fun time! I booked a hotel and rental car for us. It is also going to be our first trip away from the toddler. I am both excited and nervous about this. He and I haven’t spent a night apart since I was pregnant. He is 2 years and 7 months old and I am a little apprehensive about this next step. Of course the little traitor will probably be fine and not shed a tear since he will be with family. I am concerned about how he is going to sleep with the relatives. God being a parent is to make a person vulnerable. I will probably cry and be sad that I’m not with him. I’ll have to remember that feeling when in the next week after that I am cursing silently at him and wishing that I could get away for a while. My toddler is very much a boy. Always running, bouncing, jumping, playing boy games, and making all sorts of noise. I wouldn’t change it for the world.
